She died of a stroke after revealing that Victor was Cole’s father. But then Victor got DNA evidence that proved he wasn’t.

Wiki fandom…Eve died of an unknown illness from being bitten by a mosquito.

So , did Victor hire the mosquito to bite her? This story is seeming more and more ridiculous every time we look at it.

About 10 years after she told Victor that Cole was his son, Victor contacted Eve and asked her to bring Cole. By the time she arrived in Genoa City, Victor had been declared dead, only he wasn’t dead. He was living in Kansas with Hope.

She never told Cole that Victor Newman was his father. So when she found out that Cole and Victoria had eloped in Las Vegas she was rushing to tell Cole about Victor and she had a stroke.

Victor returned to Genoa City and he informed Cole and Victoria that they were siblings and the marriage was annulled.

Eve Howard died.

When Victor was going through Eve’s things he found correspondence that led him to believe that she lied to him about Cole and he tested the DNA from Eve’s corpse, his own DNA and Cole’s DNA to find out that Cole was no relation to him at all. Cole and Victoria remarried.
